    K~

Just wondering how big you guy/gal is now? Dave said they tend to max around 3.5 feet with rare ones hitting four. Also wondering how their growth rate is. New species are always fun but knowing what to expect helps you know if you do or do not have a problem.

There is like no info about Madagascarophis colubrinus available online,

    Gorgeous little addition!!

A friend of mine has a pair of those and has been driving herself crazy trying to find some 'snail eating snakes'. I think the latter look awesome but would be a pain in the tush to feed.

    Back to topic congrats again!

That is a very gorgeous snake!! I was admiring it for a while Sat. morning myself. If I had some extra money and space, I would have picked it up!!

    Jack,

No, I was not a vendor there this time. After the robbery Sat. night, I doubt I will be a vendor at one of these shows again.
I was walking around with my two daughters and talking to friends most of the time. I was there from around 10:00 to 1:00 on Sat. morning. Towards the end, I was sitting on one of the empty tables with my daughter and some other friends.
If you are interested in anything Morelia, I can hook you up! :carrot:

Got to see the venom at work today!

I have fed her a prekilled pinky and she ate it so she is an eater just like Dave promised. It has started to get cool here in North Texas so I was not expecting to find a small med gecko today when I pulled out the christmas stuff for the wife from the shed but I found a very small one.

I have an amel house snake that just won't eat so I tried offering the tiny gecko to him, no deal she still won't eat :taz:

I was just going to free it but then figured heck the cateyed snake might want it. She was in her little tree I built her so I put the gecko near her and watched.

She turned preditor instantly, moving so slowly you could barely notice the movement and finaly got close enough for a strike. She moved at light speed and grasped the gecko and just held it for about 10 seconds and it was either dead or paralized at that point. She never left the tree just turned it head first and swallowed it whole.

Now it was a tiny gecko no doubt but the venom was impressive none the less. These are just such cool little snake!
