samhain (halloween) is our new year's eve... so it's a pretty important day in our home. plus my daughter turns 20 that say as well. she was born at 10:31 on 10/31

so we'll have some birthday celebrations, give our treats to the kids (sharing our harvest with them as this is the third and final harvest celebration of the year), and then we'll do some spell work, mediate and i'll do some readings for us all.

then, november 1st... we start a new year :) this and yule (december 21st) are my favorite nights of the year!

no way. my daughter is not getting posted here... you animals will be all over her like a wet dog! and honestly, she really dislikes (i'm being polite here actually LOL) our snakes so hearing that the snake forum i visit wishes her a happy birthday won't rock her boat

it has nothing to do with living in canada joe... i'm pagan and our new year begins nov. 1st as we follow the seasons rather than the gregorian calendar. ;)

oh man joe... see... this just goes to show you how much canadians know about the americans and yet the americans know so little about us

when i was down in the states on vacation when i was 13 - a girl asked me if i wanted her to teach me how to use a fork and knife so i wouldn't embarrass myself by eating with my fingers at their restaurants! she figured that since i was from canada... i didn't use cutlery!
