(as it would have arrived much sooner than all the time it's taken you to try to eradicate the mites on your own).

also... joe suggested you contact a vet ASAP.
i'm not quite sure what else you are looking for? sorry if we are misunderstanding :(
to be honest...I probably AM as grouchy as it sounds. But I truly mean no disrespect. But then again...you might be reading a little too much into the tone and not the message. :) Really, I am more aggravated than grouchy ;)
I realize I should have ordered some PAM earlier. I have never had mites...and as bad as I feel right now for waiting...I decided to try a more homeopathic approach. I have read some discouraging information regarding neurological damage as a result of permethrin based products.
Its really easy to look back and say..."I should have done this." or to point the finger and say "you should have done this." I was truly doing what I thought was both acceptable and best at the time.
I saw joes advice to contact a vet, I replied by saying "I fully plan on contacting my vet ASAP." I also saw JLC's advice to contact a vet...and replied by saying "The vet sounds like the best option right now."
LOL, what am I looking for? I am looking to see if other people have ever experienced anything like this. I hardly doubt I am the only person to ever come across something like this. I also seriously doubt that I will be the last person...which is why this thread is here, to help others in the future.
I really do appreciate, any and all input, including everything that has already been said. :) Thank you. If anyone else has ever seen something like this, or heard of anything like this, please continue to respond. Thanks again...and sorry if I have come across wrong...I often DO!

Re: mite eye?
I've been googling any/all terms I can think of to try and get another photograph on different sites in regards to the issue at hand with the little one's eye. Sadly, no luck. I keep being told about eye caps, mites, how to get rid of 'em, etc, lots of words no pictures. I've gone thru a few of my books to see if I could find anything in there, but most of 'em don't have pictures. lol I am really interested on the answer you get from your vet, so please do keep us all updated.
Lets hope it's not too serious. Best of luck.

oh oh oh oh oh I know i am gonna get hit for this... *warning massive newb question* when you guys say PAM you don't mean the cooking spray, right?
-
Re: mite eye?
nope, not the cooking spray which is why i always write it out as Provent-A-Mite cause when i first came here i thought they were using the cooking spray!
slithers,
i'm so sorry none of us are being of any assistance... i wish i had an answer for ya. perhaps adam or jamie or someone else with a lot of experience will have one?
here's hoping for you...

oh but you HAVE!! You have brought attention to this topic. You have bumped it up numerous times. You have done your best to help me and my snake with his eye problem. I am grateful, believe it or not. I appreciate your concern, all of you.
Thanks for the kind words Reptilian. I fully plan on updating this thread when I figure out what this is. Perhaps I am right that someone else has heard of this happening or seen it before and they will post here to shed some light on the topic.
Thanks everyone for your thoughts, prayers, responses, and criticiscm (constructive).
