    It really does not matter which way is preferred. Explain to your Dad that each flexiwatt draws x amps and therefore the total amps drawn are well within the specs of the equipement being used.

    I am sure he has visions of a much higher load which is why he is having kittens.

    Thanks. The last piece (top piece) is just terminated with a single cord... I didn't think about adding flex at the time. I made this rack as my quarantine rack so I could just heat the shelves that I wanted to heat, but I have since modified my large rack with the same connectors. I thought it would be easier to troubleshoot or replace the flex if needed.

    I'll have to show him that each foot of flex is only 20watts and the tstat I have can hold up to 1500watts.
