    Congrats on the new ferret!

    If the fert is just a baby it will bite for awhile. Once they realize it gets them no where they will stop.
    It took about 2 months for my Vegas to stop biting.
    The other two I have were rescues and they only bite when they find feet under blankets.

    she is just under a year old and the people who had her never trained her so she bites because she thinks it will get her stuff

    I trained fergus to stop biting by ignoring him.
    Everytime he went to bite when he was a baby i put him back in his cage and left him for 15mins then went back to him and let him out again if he bit again i would do the same and ignore him , it worked a treat everytime i noticed he was biting softer and softer until he was just licking which i praised with his favorite treat i took around a month/6weeks in total to stop his biting and he has never once bitten since in the the 9 years i have had him :)
