    :petting: :hug: I TOTALLY understand. Stripe passed just this Jan. 1 and we're still mourning. :(

    Steve, so sorry to hear of Toby's passing. He had a good long run of it and I'm sure a wonderful life for a cat but it's never easy when our furry friends reach the end so much more quickly than we'd like. When we had to put down our two cats (a female age 18 and a male age 16+) over the course of a year, it was very hard on the whole family. I know it's little help but over time it will get easier to remember Toby's whole life and not just those last weeks of it and his passing. It is also a wonderful way to help the kids understand about life, death and healthy grieving...something all of us will face...so they can build those tools through dealing with Toby's passing.
