I have to wait for the funds to get to my paypal account from my bank so I can open an account with my paypal debit card but they take $10 off to make sure it works and then they put it back on.

Who takes $10 then puts it back?? I have never heard of this ever happening if its FEDEX that does this.Someone is lieing to you.If they do set you up for shipping thru them ,and the account number you give them to pay the bill with does not exist they send you a bill in the mail. Then they will ask you why your bank account does not exist. When i first started shipping they had one number wrong on my account so the bill was not paid then.I got a bill in the mail and had the mistake corrected.

I bypassed speaking to my rep in the 1st place, and sent my test package in on my dime - The results were e-mailed back to me along with a copy to the sales rep - The test evaluation report will identify your sales rep along with their number - So it's not absolutely neccessary that you speak to your sales rep 1st - They do infact "now anyways" debit your account to make sure it valid, and the charges wil be reversed shortly thereafter...

OK thats weird about the money,i guess it saves time though. How can you bypass speaking to your area rep and just send in your test box? I was given papers to fill out that went with my test box.

Fed ex took out three ten dollar payments from my credit card to verify it then the put it back in. They did charge my card for the shipping of the test package 42.00 but they are refunding my card because it was a mistake.

Did you send you test package via overnight delivery?...I paid for my test package out of my pocket and sent it via Ground. it was like 4 bucks. It took a bit longer, but I got certified nonetheless!!

no they said to ship it two day air and that is free. They charged me by mistake. Also the guy David Arbeit from fed ex package development that does the testing told me to include an old heat pack and a gel cold pack and a note explaining that they will be used depending on the temperature. Tape the container that the reptile will be shipped in and mark the top of the container live harmless reptile incase the package is opened. Pack the inside of the box with some sort of packing material around the container. He also said tape the top of the box 3 times with packing tape and on the top edges too 3 times. Put the package testing application on the outside of the shipping box being tested and then put that box inside another box and label the other box "overbox". After you get the results then your area rep contacts the legal department and then you sign the waiver saying that you will only be shipping business to business and fex ex isn't liable for your shipments.
