    As for temperment, my peruvians were captive born and bred in iquitos peru and then imported. Because of this, the first year of their life they had very little human contact other than cage cleaning. They can be handable, but it required hook training and I still get a little nervous cause they have one hell of a feeding response! A nice CBB specimen should do just well for you though if you get it young and work with it. They really are spectacular animals...peruvian and suriname are my fav rtb's by far.
