    I'm just looking for a more inexpensive way to produce solid morphs without buying the true morphs them selves. Want to start with hets...

    There are still some decent sellers on Kingsnake. I tend to look around on the BOI first anywhere I go.

    That's a fine way to go about it. Lots of folks do. Just take some time to educate yourself on the various morph types and the markets for them. The more you understand and know, the less likely it is someone will rip you off.

    Yes, you can get hets for genetic stripe. No, you can't get hets for spider. These are things you need to read up on...a lot....to really succeed in finding the right animals for you.

    I'm sure someone has bet me too it but....

    Spiders are a Dominate morph...they either are spiders or they're normals...no spider hets!
