I hand feed all my treats. :D The treats don't last more than a second.

Too funny! All the moms know there's no escape from the Kling-on empire.

Eh - I've got weird rats. One takes treats and buries them, the other sniffs and goes "whatever!"

Wow! You do have weird rats. :O Although my male prefers for me to play with him, but he'll take his food.

The gray self won't take anything from my hand, but climbs up to get to ME when I'm by there and ignores all food.

The hooded will take from my hand, but go bury it to eat later.

Tried the Phoenix worms - gray didn't even sniff at them, just wanted me to hold her, and the hooded FINALLY took one, bit at it, dropped it, and came running to take the next one, bit it, dropped it - repeat! LOL

They're eating their regular food, but don't care for the dried fruit, really love the lab block, dog food, oatmeal, cheerios and rice puffs the most. Pick over the nuts, dried fruit and split lentils and peas. Sometimes eat the pasta.

Yup it's official, you have strange rats. Although I don't think I'd mind, my female could care less if I was to play with her. Go away lady and bring more food... ;)

that pic is classic ! :8:

my rats are all a little different when it comes to treats . my rex female will stop anything she is doing for treats and she wolfs them down emediately . most of the rest are a little more conservative , eating a little and then burying the rest for latter . they all go nuts for crickets .
