There used to be a loose set of agreed "rules". 10 spots or less= super hypo, 11-20 = hypo.
However, as more and more were produced and the bloodlines refined via selective breeding, the above mentioned guidelines fell by the wayside.
Nowadays I don't consider any of mine Super Hypos if they have spots; below are some examples of what I consider Super Hypo Tangerines and Super Hypo Carrot Tails.
As a side note/disclaimer; JBall, those are some awesome geckos you picked up at Tinley and this post is merely in response to the above quoted post. In no way is it meant to lessen or disparage the quality of your geckos; nor is it an attempt to advertise any of mine, as the examples below were sold months ago! :salute:
