    Then place a ad in your local paper for the $75 you want for the snake and ad whatever the cost is for placing the ad.People are paying a $149 for male ball python :eek: ? I can get them all day for $25

    You could also try craigslist.

    And yes, petstores rarely 'buy' anything. When I manged J&K the owner told me I could accept anything that a person was going to surrender I just wasn't allowed to pay for anything.
    I ended up with some nice critters that I personally bought from the people who wanted to get rid of them and the owner would slap high price tags on everything else.
    Him being male is your downfall, on another site a gentleman was just selling adult males for 20 bucks each.

    I paid $25 for my normal BP in August, and that was because I felt bad--I could've gotten him for free. The previous owner had five snakes--two BP's, a blood python, a RTB and a Kenyan sand boa--and no bites at all except for me when he put an ad in the local classifieds. And it's a beautiful snake, at least to me. Upshot, it may be tough to get much for Loki.
