Congrats!!! :D He's a looker! ;)
Re: Tampa Show - brought this home!
BT, you can stop with those compliments in a day or so! :)
It was a pleasure meeting you, Aud and your cute little girl. I'm so glad Balou, our beautiful lemon pastel male, found such a good home. Don't forget that you promised to send pics of his babies next summer. Will that make me a ball python grandma?
BTW, you need to tell everyone how your daughter was keeping herself entertained while we talked snakes . . . she was so precious. I hope you got her to sleep the whole way back to Ft. Myers!
Wolfy, it was also great meeting you. It's so nice to put a face to a name from the forum. Let me know how those dwarf mice do. . . . they were so tiny.
Nate, it was also good seeing you again. Nate and I had met a few weeks ago when he came over to our house to meet the snakes. He is a sharp young man who is going about this hobby the right way - and not just jumping in to make a quick buck.
BT, here's a pic of Balou a few months ago with his head peeking out. Hope you enjoy. Keep me updated on how everything is going. Take care.

I am so jealous that he got to see your snakes :taz:
I forgot about what Raigen did at the show. So were at the show and Raigen (our 23 month old toddler) is doing really good in her stroller not making to much of a fuss over riding in her car seat for 2 hours and then going right from there to the stroller for another 4 or so hours. Well toward the end we were hungry so we grabbed some food, I got her a little strawberry smoothie.....she sat cute with it in her cup holder sipping from the tiny straw, and then as I'm all distracted talking to Neil about racks with Brian, I look over thinking she has been kid-napped because she had been way to quiet for way to long...WRONG, she had smeared the smoothie all over herself, her bald head, arms face every where. I didnt say a word because 1) I didnt want to have to deal with her pitching a pure fit at the time and 2) as long as she was quiet and happy....I didnt care what she was doing.
Then Alice played peek-a-boo with her and made sure it really got all over her face. I think this is how babies keep such soft skin :)
And no she actually didnt sleep a wink, but was good for the 2-2.5 hour drive. I know my legs and butt couldnt stand that car for another minute...I was ready to start crieing. :)
But yes everyone, Alice is truly wonderful, and again it was great to meet a female breeder....no offense to the guys or anything.
Wish you all the well with everyting, and I'm sure you will see us again and again.
Keep an eye out for some pictures of the snakes :)
Alice....I was wondering how do you pronounce the name you gave him? Is it Bay-Lou?

Exactly!!! Right now were knee deep into the "No" and "I'll do it" stage...I think I have a migrain that will never fade. Goody Powders should start sending me free stuff any day now for keeping them in buisness.
I keep thinking "your not even 2 yet...is this just practice for whats to come?" Its a rough patch that soon will fade.....hopefully I'll live to see the other side lol.
Re: Tampa Show - brought this home!
WOW, Very nice Pastel you have there! Congradulations on the very nice aquisition!
Re: Tampa Show - brought this home!
Audrey, we stole his name from the Jungle Book character, so we pronounced it Ba-lou. His clutch mate's name is Akeela. Go figure.

Re: Tampa Show - brought this home!

Thank you again Alice!!! You now have a faithful fan and returning customers I'm sure.
