First off, :welcome:Ken, and thanks! How's that little guy settling in? Have you made your master plan to approach the wife about a pastel yet? Just remember to act like an :floating: :D.

Adam, maybe one day I'll actually have something that you don't already have 5 of :sigh2:, but that really does mean a lot to me, thanks! :sunny:

Yeah, and it seems to be tied to the pastel gene somehow, because all the pastels from that clutch had this, but none of the normals....I always thought it looked like a jigsaw puzzle piecestickin out the back of the head. Here's a shot of his sister right after her first shed.

Anyway, thanks again everyone for all the kind words!

They're a lemon line of pastel. I'll let Evan post a picture of pops if he wants, he's a super-fine fellow himself.

Actually they're "THE" Lemon Pastel line ... there is only one true line of lemon pastels originated by Kevin McCurley at NERD ... a lot of other people "claim" to have lemon pastels, but unless their breeding stock can be traced back to the original and only NERD line of lemon pastels, they're just imitators.

That's why it's important to work with good breeders like Evan that can provide a background and lineage information with their animals.

When it comes to ball pythons, EVERYTHING I do is about the details. I live, eat, and breathe this stuff. I'd rather fail trying to be perfect than be successful at mediocrity. ;)
