Yes. Almost every single mutation is found in the wild.....Ive seen WC albinos .....Pieds.....spiders.....ETC.

Im actually breeding desert ghosts now and Mark and Kim bell were the ones who proved out the first desert ghost in 2003 and then produced their own line in 2006 . After that NERD ( New England Repile Distributors) created their own line.

To my knowledge the desert ghost is a single recessive gene. The only way to get one is to have two snakes hold the het for them or visual. The desert ghost is a mystery for sure. I have a snake in my collection that is suppose to be a desert ghost but when I look at it. it looks like a True ghost. This year I will start to prove it out, what ever it ends up being. my hopes is that I hit jack pot and it is in fact a desert ghost. I showed pics of it to a major breeder and he too is unsure what he could be. he knows it is not any line of the ghosts gene. His thoughts is that if it isn't a desert or true ghost, I have hit on a totally new morph. :)
only time will tell as the breeding season is about to start, and I have big plans for him.
