well if your snake wares bifocals and says things like "in my day" then you have on older snake. But if all he can think about is little red sports cars and women then hes younger.
And if you see all of those symptoms, then you have a mid-life crisis on your hands! :P

Yeah I know, I'm horrible :cool:, but I was kidding and yet not kidding too. There is a method called skeletochronology where you actually count growth layers in the vertebrae to determine age. It probably isn't the best way to find out how old your pet is (more for how old your pet was :D ), but it has been proven to be an accurate method in studies on some fish and reptiles (although VERY tedious, I did it on some fish in an Ichthyology lab some years ago).
