oh yeah he is totally fine one of the best feed responces i have seen in a baby, he is supposedaly het for carmel albino, but with the missing eye the guy was going to kill it and my friend talked him into letting me take from him.

Thats great, with Ray he was a little hesitant the first week, but has been all over the rats the last two. The people that gave him to the pets store said he had not eaten all summer, so that really shows what the proper conditions do for them ....

Congrats, he looks great! :sweeet: You might be able to test his eyesight with something that doesn't give off an odor or heat such as a yard stick or something similar. Just a thought...

That is a great idea, I noticed he is more responsive when we open his tub and move his hide. That first week he did not even flinch. I think part of it was that he was also dehydrated. I have never seen a snake drink like that. We changed the water every other day, and the first few times he went straight to it.
Anyway, I will try that tomorrow Lawrence and update the post.
