That's so funny you mentioned that. I also have a "snake-reluctant" spouse. We've been married 7 years now and I just finally got him to agree to let me have one. Ultimately, it was the notion that the snake could be fed frozen thawed and not live feed, that swayed him in my favor.

Oh how my spouse would sympathize - he has ALWAYS hated snakes (basically anything that doesn't have legs :confuzd: ) - now we have 3 of them and he drove me for a total of 6 hours to get our last boa :)

Yes, that would be the one. Lol We are improving our relations everyday. As long as she has her space and i keep to mine she is Ok with observing on her own terms. 3 months into it though. Wish me luck!! :fishslap:

I seriously (temporarily I hope) damaged my relationship with my sav day before yesterday by dumping him in the bath for a little extra soaking for his shed - plus I wanted to give his viv a going over. I hadn't done it for a while as he now has his own tub in there so guess it stressed him out a bit. He refused to come out all day yesterday and just glared :( Oh well - learnt my lesson I'll buy him some nice super-large adult locusts today so perhaps we can start afresh :cool:
