Interesting. I guess when I see them on Animal Planet, I don't notice the black in their manes. Oh, and I remember the lions in The Lion King having only golden manes.

Had to vote Komodo - my sav was watching at the time ;)

I to have never seen black on a Lion..odd. We live near Lion Country Safari, which is an awesome zoo, and none of those Lions have black on them.

Well he could also of decided that brunettes have more fun lol.

i loved the groundhog... hands down!

all the photos are great , but i love number 4 :D

Komodos are still IMO one of the coolest creatures on earth.
