Re: Steve Irwin Memorial Service
Yeah I was crying my eyes off. Both times the show was broadcasted. Seeing Terri was heart breaking and his father, who lost his wife and son within a 6 year span. I think many will agree when you saw Steve and Terri, that it was true love between those two.
Re: Steve Irwin Memorial Service
Yup, I too was bawling my eyes out!
Re: Steve Irwin Memorial Service
I was most impressed with little Bindi - wow! She was the one I was most worried about, because she adored her Daddy. She seems wise beyond her years and will most certainly carry on her daddy's dreams - and quite wonderfully, I believe!
Re: Steve Irwin Memorial Service
Wasnt sur eif this was worth starting a new post over but what about the show. Do you think Terry will carry on with this show even though he was the main character in it? I know it would be the same but It would be cool to see them carry it on.
Re: Steve Irwin Memorial Service
To the best of my knowledge Bindi is still gonna do her kids version of a Crocodile Hunter show. I think Terri is just in a daze over Steve. They truly did love each other and that sort of love is not something you can easily get over in a short amount of time.
Re: Steve Irwin Memorial Service
If anyone heres of this re-running please post, now that I magically have animal planet. Or if anyone recorded it I foot the bill for a dvd and shipping.
Side note the animal planet website has some great clips. I watched a couple at work near the end of the day and it just about had me tearing up. There is a really good one where Steve is talking about if he would ever give up all he had done. His answer was YES. He said when his kids can take over and continue on with his work he will step aside and know that he did all he was supposed to. Just as his parents did with him.

Here's the whole thing, I don't have cable television so I watched it online. Stayed strong till the truck at the end was loaded... then bawled my eyes out. :tears: I've also heard that Bob (Steve's Dad) has said he doesn't think it's really hit Bindi yet. That may be the case, but all the same that's one tough little girl...

Yeah, I think Bindi is gonna feel it one of these days. But her speech was great no doubt. But god, seeing Terri, seeing Steve's truck loaded up and of course the clip that ALWAYS gets me Steve with the wild orphaned baby elephant which Steve knew the elephant wasn't going to live.
