Useless Facts

Not all of those are facts and are more or less just urban legend.

Such as dragonflies only live one day, not true, some species live in their flying stage for many months. With a total lifespan of several years.

The goldfish memory thing is also bogus, heck my goldfish seem to remember me every time I walk by their tank and want food.

The inventor of the toilet is widely disputed, with Crapper not even owning the patent on the flushing toilet.

Many words rhyme with month, orange, silver or purple. i.e. Orange-porridge, Month-dunce, Silver-liver, Purple-hurtful etc.

There are many more on that list that are not facts.

Trash, rubbish, refuse, and garbage are in fact technical terms that are assigned based on the moisture content of the stuff in question.

Refuse, in fact, is a mixture of trash and rubbish.

I actually had to train a goldfish to swim through a series of color hoops during a biology lab last semester. Those goldfish are pretty smart!
