Yeah. Right now he is smashing most of the fake plants I have in this tank. But the funny thing is near his GIANT water bowl (lol) there is a bit of plants and his head is under them but his you can see his nose and his tongue flicking! He looks soo cute!!! I’ll just probably glue fake plants to the glass or something to make it look good. And probably put a few dozen fake plants (that you can get at the dollar store) and just let him smash them or whatever. He seems to like do that. And stick his head under the plants like when a child goes behind a poll saying “Cant see me” You can of course see the rest of the body. So adorable. Lol.

How do you plan to effectively disinfect the enclosure with fake plants glued to the glass?

Take out the aspen or whatever substrate I'd be usuing and spray down the whole enclosure (spraying down all the plants and everything) Worked with my bird aviaries.

To think he also did some thinking about these things. Well we have decided to wait for a few weeks time to switch Billy to the shed enclosure (but ofcourse we need to make it) We decided on the wait because we need to make sure the garage is a good spot for him and my other snakes. Because in the winter it does get offly bone chilling So we'll need to find a way to make sure the garage is hot enough for our snakes. And I'll keep everyone updated on the "progress" we make:) Wish us luck. I cant wait for billy to be in an actual enclosure he can atleast stretch out somewhat, lol. :P

We've decided to just keep our big boy in hi giant tank for a while. I keep telling him that the snake is way too big for that tank. But he says a few of his buddies will be making an enclosure. I wanted it to be a good size enclosure. But he keeps stressing about space, mainteneance will be too much for him. So he thinks it should be the size I told you all about, but with only newspaper bedding, 2 hides, a fake background, big water dish (small kiddy pool) an his heat source and we're going to get a humidifier.
