Lady and Baby were in the same cage for the longest time. now that they are apart both are gaining more weight and growing very fast but Baby had gotten very agressive to me and any one who came up to the tubs. His hisses could be heard down the hall and they sounded like they were coming out of a 12 foot snake. Most of the time it was Tesla (my cat) trying to look at the snakes.

Balled up paper didnt work, nothing worked for him. I found out that he was really un happy with is living space not having another body to wrap around, so i went to the toys r us store and got a small snake stufty and placed it in there to see what would happen. well he stoped hissing he stoped being a bad boy and he seem to be back to his normal self as long as i dont take his plushy out.

My snake is a head case! :rolleye2:

They spend about 90% of their time together in their 60 gallon tank, usually "snuggled" together. I've always housed them together. And honestly, Loki gets downright grumpy if Merlin's out of the tank for long!

    my :2cent: :)

Do you know the dangers of keeping them together?

You'll have alot more problems than mites and ticks.

They don't snuggle, there is no such thing. They are competing for heat, or just for that spot.

I dont see anything wrong with a stuffed toy snake shareing the space with a screwed up in the head BP. LOL
but the key words here are "Stuffed toy snake"

We all learn from our mistakes (well almost all) and we learn from others. (same rules apply)

Lady and Baby were shareing a tank due to the fact that I just moved and I had to wait for my extra tanks to come in from the movers. then you guys turned me to Plastic tubs and I will never go back to glass! I owe you guys :D
