Alright well they're here. I havn't taken very many pictures. It was basically takem out, weighem, putem in the cage...took one picture of each. They're gorgeous.

The male weighs in at 880g
The female weighs in at 1255g

    Few questions now:
    1. Some people say a female is breedable at 1000, some say don't do it till 1500...so she's basically right in between...would you attempt a breed this season?

    2. the female arrived in shed, milky bluish eyes. I'm not going to feed her for a week simply because she just got shipped to me. Should I skip next weeks meal if she has not shed? or will she likely shed by then?

    3. Humidity is still high. It's stuck between 60 and 70...that's great for the female, but I don't want my humidity that high all the time. Is high humidty a good way to start an RI?

    1. How old is the female? I guess you can start feeding her and see if she's ready to go this season...if she's a really good eater, she may be ready for a late season start. Best to confer with Adam on that!

    2. She should probably be finished shedding by then. But if she hasn't, I'd go ahead and try to feed her anyway. It'll give you a good clue on whether she's an aggressive feeder who is not particularly bothered by her circumstances...or whether she's a picky one.

    3. I think the humidity is ok. Not great, but ok. Try setting a small fan in the area that the rack is in...not blowing directly on the rack, but circulating the air around it. See if that helps lower the humidity some.

CONGRATS Nate!! I know how much you wanted these and I'm VERY happy for you!!

Thanks Judy I am not done..lol...i've still got more coming. I can't wait! Thank you for the advice, I will PM adam (or he can respond to this thread) and get his thoughts on breeding her.

One other note on the Humidity...i put in a bunch of holes the other night hoping that would help but for some reason the humidity is only going up.

Make sure the water dish is completely on the cool side of the enclosure....and if it already is, then maybe try something smaller. Also, if they spilled any water while exploring their new homes, or if they peed...that will spike the humidity as well.
