I use disposable 16 oz cups from the chineese restraunt and use 4 inch pipe fittings from home depot. The cups can be recycled and the pipe fittings can be put in the dishwasher.

Thanks for all the feedback. I bought it with the intention on just seeing how it works out. Honestly, I prefer a mobile water dish, and i know around breeding season, females like to wrap around their bowl sometimes.

I just wanted some input on the idea.

I used the regular bowl and hated the cleaning when I had alot of snakes. So these seemed easier. Now it is just a habbit. I change them out once a month or sooner if they get really dirty. The pipes I bought at home depot let them coil around, but not under the bowl. It works for me. Todd

I use the disposable gladware containers with a hole cut out the top. My snakes like to soak in there quite often. it has never tipped over...even during feeding time bumps.

Be careful ... I've know people that have had ball pythons drown in those glad containers with holes cut in the lid.

That seems like a neat idea; my BCI always tipped water everywhere until I got him a nice hefty ceramic dog bowl.
