Price or Rats.

I'm just starting to breed my own rats. Have two right now, waiting for the first litter. :sweeet:

i would say go ahead and breed your own. We were paying about $3.50 a rat and about $2 a mouse. But Lola had weeks where she wanted live, then she wanted f/t..then one snake would start a shed and skip a meal and we would get stuck with live food or wasting a f/t.


We didnt mean to breed TJ the rat but on 7/22 she gave us a litter of 14 babies. all but like 4 are left. its great..both snakes take em and they havent gotten to big yet for Khan. It is a stinky job but its a moolah saveR!:P
