I just want to appreciate the look and beauty of both sexes.

Finding a rescue female is going to be difficult. Most people are smart enough to either hang onto their females or sell them for a buck. The only females you'll find up for rescue are ones that are unable to breed for one reason or another (ie. my Mercedes). You may get lucky and find an unsexed baby up for rescue that turns out female...
