I was alone in the house, Mikey was napping, Mike was at work...Rauri the BCI farted loudly for the first time...in his enclosure behind but near the computer where I was sitting happily and quietly enjoying a break in my day. I thought I had an intruder in the house...an intruder with really REALLY bad gas. LOL

I heard Sebastian go once. I didn't know what it was since I was trying to go to sleep, but a few minutes I sure smelled it and then knew what that noise was I heard moments before.

I didn't wonder as I've no clue what a "chitlin" is but for some reason I think I don't want to know. I think it's some odd food people eat for some reason though I may be way out in left field on that lol.

Chitlins are pig intestines. They are normally served boiled or fried. Come on down south and let us introduce you the to finer side of eatin'. :welcome:

Pig guts! Ohhhhh you people! You don't have a nice porkchop, maybe hamburger, heck a green salad maybe? Oh well I'm part scots and love haggis so who I am to talk.

I have learned that sausage gravy isn't the most gawd awful looking mess to ever appear on my breakfast plate so I guess I could try chitlins. However mountain oysters are NEVER going to appear on my what to try next list (someone finally told me what they really are! :omfg: :puke2: )

LOL....at a very "cowboy" restaurant in Ft. Worth, we had a dish called "Rattlesnake eggs"....which was essentially ummm...."calf oysters", if you will. :P Deep fried. They're actually really good....but if you think about what you're eating, it just doesn't matter how good it tastes... :puke2:

Judy, no need to go to Texas...in downtown Tucson, there is an exclusive place called The Mountain Oyster Club* where the speciality is..well, mountain oysters.

*Or at least there used to be. I was taken there once by my uncle's father. =)

Neat place - they have a bunch of original Remington sculptures.
