Actually there is someone who has been attempting the burm x ball cross for some time now. Even took pics of them mating. So far no eggs but you never know.
ball x angolan, ball x blood, ball x woma, burm x retic, carpet x GTP, gaboon x rhino......there are all kinds of crosses out there.
I don't think anything is impossible anymore except for egg laying x live bearing crosses.
I am just toying with the idea right now. My wife seems to think that this pairing would result in one very large snake (ie: one eating the other:D ).

I'm curious were you successful with the breeding project. I would love to see a picture of a hybrid (children's balls). I have a large female children's pythons and a small male bp so I'm debating on trying to breed them.
