    Definitely! Especially with heat cable like that which can run EXTREMELY hot.

    I did mine close to elevatethis only I taped my probe from my Helix right on the inside of the cage floor where the heatcable is underneath. Set my Helix at 93 degrees and it works great. Hot side floor temps stay between 92-93 degrees. I double check floor hot side temps w/ my temp gun.
