If your going to have a venomous snake people need to stop acting dumb and know they have a venomous snake and take the responsibility of owning it without harming the snake. They got what they wanted, why try deminishing it?

Can venomoids digest their prey properly? Yes. The rumor that venom is necessary for digestion, and that venomoids do not fully digest their prey, is false. We have maintained hundreds of venomoids at our facility, and each one has eaten, digested and defecated its prey at the same rate and with the same apparent efficiency as its venomous counterpart. The only thing that a venomoid cannot do is kill its prey using venom; venomoids cannot be fed live prey, but they have absolutely no difficulties consuming and digesting pre-killed prey items.

Isn't that quote what you would expect to hear from a company called Venomoid Inc. It has also been shown in extensive research that venom along with saliva contains many enzymes that help in the process of breaking up consumed food or prey to help make it more easily digestible. Also on the point of declawing cats, it is just as cruel in my opinion. If you want a cat but dont want your precious furniture getting clawed then don't get a cat. It is as natural for a cat to have its claws as it is for a venomous snake to have its fangs and it basically boils down to humans playing with nature to suit our own selfish needs

Hey steveo, i was checking out that Venomoid Inc website and it is a truly disgusting website. It makes you wonder how many snakes have died in the process of these barbaric rituals so that they can have a few healthy venomoid snakes just to make themselves some money at the expense of some of the least understood yet beautiful and awe-inspiring animals on the planet.

Those are the same people who are acting VERY fishy on another forum. They don't answer any questions, etc.

So what if they CAN digest prey? The thing is that they are being robbed of their venom just for some moron who's too afraid to keep a hot.

If you can keep a venemoid, you can keep a hot.

If you don't want a cat to scratch don't get a cat.

Declawing can lead to a lot of problems in the future. A large quantity of cats that are declawed and in shelters were turned in because the cats began peeing where they shouldn't.

Imagine having your toe nails ripped out and then being expected to walk on litter to go to the bathroom. Many cats associate litter box with pain and will find other places to go.

I would never declaw a cat and I urge others not to as well.
