Re: Weigh-In!
lol
The only time I really use my snake-bag is during cage cleaning, when Mark isn't around to hold the snakes. They kind of go into this still motionless state in there; it is weird. Even my BCI does this.

Re: Weigh-In!
My like their snake bags/pillowcases. They will usually just crawl right in and settle down, except for Ruari who is now just getting used to the routine(snake out of tub, grab head, attempt to stuff in bag, grab head again, grab tail from latching around your leg, attempt to wrangle said 30lb heifer of a snake into bag, get snake in bag, pass out on couch). That's about how it goes :) The Balls are so much easier. Pop 'em in the bag and they are happy.
Sometimes when I weigh them, I put a bucket on the scale, tare it, then put the snake in. Works pretty well as they are more interested in the bottom of the bucket for at least a few seconds.

lol; gotta love those BCIs. Apache hates being put into the bag, but once in there, he seems to just settle in. However, he is only a lightweight compared to yours; he's around 5 ft (gotta weigh him soon, come to think of it..)

She is doing So good!! I decided to be nuts and try to feed her last night, since she seems to have settled in so well; she took that little rat within seconds of me putting it in there. I know it might seem premature, but I just had to do it; it was like avoiding Xmas presents on Xmas morning not to, and she took it fine :)
She has a little personality all her own; always out all night exploring her cage, and curled up during the day in her hide. :) :) :) She's so well-adjusted.

I wish the same could be said for her former landlord :rolleye2:
So glad to hear she's happy :D
