Growing up we had a family run pet store that all the kids in our town loved. They had a mynah named Soc who was an amazing bird. Having grown up in the pet store he mimiced all the animals and would bark and meow until he had the whole place in an uproar. He would pout if they got any other talking birds in to sell and sit in his cage, ignoring everyone and mournfully murmuring..."soc's a pretty boy, yes he is, soc's a pretty boy" as if to reassure himself he was still the best bird in the place. He loved to wolf whistle, said a ton of things and if he was in a bad mood and you approached him he'd bellow "what do YOU want!" in the loudest, grumpiest bird voice.

Soc was a real draw for that pet store and they truly treasured him. Lots of people over the years tried to purchase Soc but they always refused to part with him. I used to go visit him every Saturday for years when I was a kid.

Thanks people , sharon the childrens is one of my fave of all python species only a very close second to Royals (balls) ( ive always had a soft spot for those guys :) ) also i post up another photo of sharon because for a 5 year old Childrens python she has kept her markings pretty good , the male on the other hand is 4 years old and has lost nearly all his markings as they typically do hes almost totally brown now just very faint spots .
heres she is last year after she finished laying her eggs (this was after i removed them to the incubator , which she wasnt happy about :/
