We had little Sprocket out for a few moments last night and he happily licked some CGD off his nose when I dabbed it on. I tried to offer him some on the end of a teaspoon Emily and the silly boogerhead hopped right on the spoon and got it all over himself LOL. How cute!

Anyway this morning there are clear lick marks in his bowl of GSD (right down to the bottom) so he must have been eating overnight. Yay for Sprocket!

ha haa, mine LOVE to jump in the spoon and make a huge mess. :P

*splat!* *run up mom's arm leaving sticky footprints everywhere!*

sounds like you have a good eater on your hands there! since sprocket is from matt i guess i should've expected that. :gj:

as for handling, about 5-10 minutes once or twice per day now, and as sprocket gets older and more used to handling you can increase the time some. they definitely calm down some as they mature, making handling easier, although i have found that adults that weren't handled as juvies are somewhat insane to handle and really don't tame down. i have a few cresteds that i got as adults, or close to it, and they obviously were never handled much--i pretty much only handle those when necessary, otherwise it's just too much stress on everyone.

Yay I have Crestie poop! LOL Peeked in while gabbing on the phone to Jeanne this morning and there was this lovely little poop (my gawd you know you are wierd when you are asking a friend on the phone to describe crestie turds to you LOL). Anyway he's eaten and pooped so those are all good things. He feels so lovely to handle...like a cross between the best velvet and a really buttery suede.

I'm so in Crestie love

Cresties are just great. They're so sweet, and remind me of little dragons (just softer ;) ) I'm so glad you are enjoying your residence on the dark side. :sweeet:
