Re: Piebald
Question, just curious.. I KNOW NOTHING OF SNAKE MORPHS except for the obvious basics.... Is there concern for long term healt problems with snakes that are trip/quad morphs. After 5 generations of deluting color has anyone run into problems? This is just a question, not to offend or anger anyone. I'm a fan of the morphs... Hope to own one one day.... I just know w/ dogs, cats, horses, even fish, there have been diffrent results. just curious.....

I could be wrong but, I would think that most health problems would result from cross-breeding closely related snakes over time. Such as siblings/parents. That is why it's best to introduce new breeding stock into the equation (same morphs from different breeders or a new snake entirely) That's just my thoughts on this. I have never bred before (soon I hope) but, I did study genetics in college a bit. Maybe one of the breeders has more input on this. Remember I could be totally wrong so, don't take my word for it.
