yes sidhe the last one I was thinking of framing I love the close ups and my camera does a good job on the macro setting for close ups. I would like to get a close up with the tongue sticking out maybe I will try that.

I know my camera has an "action" setting on it. The shutter speed is really fast so it captures things in motion very fast without motion blur! It's great for taking pictures of snakes & their tongues! ;)

When you're using your macro setting you're not supposed to use the zoom feature right? I've been messing with my macro settings but I can't get good shots. I think I need to clean my lens too. I gotta try to sneak in my photo shoots when my g/fs not around or else i get grief lol.

lilyorchid - my camera is a Fuji Fine Pix F610 Not had it that long so I am still learning what it is capable of but I happy with the quality of my amateur shots so far , hoepfully I will get better as I go. Spaniard - I am no camera whizz there will be hopefully a few that can chip in on that but as far as I know you do not need to use the zoom on the macro setting.
