The issue that FedEx has is that YOU are the one that passed the package testing process by the way that YOU packed the box ... and if someone other than YOU is using the account, there is no way to know for sure how THEY will pack the box because THEY weren't approved via a package test. Remember, one of FedEx's biggest fear is ESCAPES from poorly packed snakes ... everything they do is to try and minimize that happening.

Another myth is that "hold at location" is OK for live reptile shippers ... According to Mr. Brown, it is not ... only Door to Door/Business to Business ... according to Mr. Brown, FedEX does not want to be liable to anything that happens to a snake while "being held at a FedEx location", they don't want an escape at "a FedEx location", and basically want the snake out of their hands as quickly as possible.
