DHL will do one of three things if you ask them about shipping snakes:

    1) They will say that DHL does not ship animals.

    2) They will tell you to print out a waiver, fill out the form and then just create an extra blank on the excepted animal list (like ____Non-venomous snakes) and tell you to put a check next to it.

    3) They tell you that you can ship all reptiles except snakes if you fill out the waiver.

DHL does not even know its own policies and has even suggested to people to 'modify' their application to include snakes. Personally, if someone ships live snakes via DHL...they lose all respect and will not ever receive business from me.

It takes about 20 minutes of time and a few weeks of waiting to get certified with Fedex....and Fedex actually has defined policies concerning reptile shipments ;)

Local newspapers may not be the best way to sell them, why noy just list them on the forums and say "local pickup or possible meet". Some of us live closer than you think. ;) I am in northen Iowa.
