Oh boy...

is it bad that i have 2 different looking hide boxes since one i bought and the other i just cut a hole in a tupperware container...

well they should be identical. couldnt u just get a second tupperware i dont think there too expensive. and im sure the health and happiness of your animal are more important than a tupperware. my mom has yelled at me for taking hers but she gets over it lol

Well...I explained the reason why it's best to have two identical ones. YOU decide if it's bad. Maybe your snake will use both and not care. Maybe it won't. :confuzd: It's a simple thing to fix and not have to worry about one way or another. Up to you, though.

its just that i bought a really nice hide rock for my snake and i dont want it to go to waste and just use another tupperware thing...

Why would you need 2 identical hides? I use a bunch of different hides and as long as they are small and the snake can cram their bodies in there, they don't seem to care much. I probably have 75 hides or so that I switch in and out as needed.

I have lots of snakes! Do a search on hides and you will find my thread describing how I made cheap hides (Thanks to Adam for the idea!). They will cost you less than $1 each!
