Do the lesser platty pearls vary from clutch mate to clutch mate? Or do they all seem to have that purplish look to them?

Wait till you see the most extreme one...it's still absorbing yolk @ the moment so I don't want to disturb it. It has a lot of pattern & color compared to this one, but still looks like someone sandblasted most of the pigment off...it's wicked!
