It's not that I begruge her the silly popsicles, but I worked very hard to give the kids a fun day. All the cleaning before and after that goes into it, and I know I spent quite a bit on hot dogs and hamburgers for entire team and their families. It just seemed like such a tacky thing to say. Even if it crossed your mind, why would you say something like that?!?!
Thanks everybody. I feel a bit better. I love the idea of handing her a package of ratsicles instead, or at least being witty and saying I had to dig under the frozen rodents to get to them!! :giggle:
