    Maybe a matte black finish under the glass would provide less refraction and show less "trash"?? Make the snake absorb into the darkness better??

    I actually worked out the lighting problems with the "trash" and all .... I'm having really bad problems with blurryness ... I'm not sure what it is, but I'm beginning to think it has to do more with the camera?

    ~happy sigh~ What beautiful babies!!! And darned sweet odds on the clutch as well! It's one of my favorite things about this place...is logging in and finding such wonderful happenings in people's lives!

    The black background requires a shorter shutter speed. Maybe you could use a tripod with a remote trigger to reduce shake?
