    The drawers are held shut in front with a thin strip of duct tape on each. They can't push them open to get out. I heat it with a heat pad affixed to the back of the unit, it covers all 3 drawers. The back of each drawer is 91-92 degrees and the front stays constant at 82-85 degrees. I keep all my snakes in a separate bedroom that is kept at 82-85 degrees during the day. I've had them in there for weeks and none have gotten out so far. :)

    I tried this once. Same theory with the duct tape. Didn't work out so well. Good luck though!

    I check everyone daily, so if one escapes I'll find out and then I'm trashing the idea. I just wanted to give it a shot to see if it would work since they're small and seem to feel safer in the drawers because they're small and only 4 inches high. If they make a run for it, then off they go into tubs. :D
