if pastel clowns are the ones that you want most, then go for them. het clown female this year, get a pastel to go with your normal girl this year and buy an unrelated het clown male next year. pieds are awesome too! i would do the same with pieds, invest in girls first.

But your 3k budget would allow you to get a het clown female and a beautiful pastel male. That would be a much closer "step" towards a pastel clown than a pair of het pieds.

Go for what you love ... if you can't come out of pocket for it, get as close as you can with the budget that you do have.

The time will fly faster than you can imagine!

My mom is kinda getting into snakes with me too.

She especially likes the bumble bee. Thats just a spider and a pastel, right?

I can get a male pastel for 250 and ive seen spiders go for like 1800 and up.

Why are the spider males for $$$ than the females?

bumblebees rock! female spiders are priced less because there hasn't been any super spiders proven yet. and spider x spider breedings haven't produced anything but more spiders(to the best of my knowledge). imo, a female pastel will give you a little more options (super pastels) down the road. there are alot of options, with your budget or a little more you might be able to get a male spider and a female pastel with a little size on her, maybe. so many choices!
