were those boots made for walkin'? :P

i'm not really doing anything. they do fireworks over the river downtown but it's highly overrated, not to mention that finding parking, walking from the spot you found 8 miles away after sitting in stopped traffic for an hour and packing yourself onto a tiny riverfront street with several thousand other people in 100 degrees and 100% humidity to watch a pretty low quality 10 minute show is not exactly my idea of a fun time. been there, done that, don't feel the need to ever do it again. kind of like that time in college that...oh wait, nevermind. :D

Well, my aunt is getting a new horse in to try out to buy so I'll be at the barn earlier in the day, and then in the evening we'll go to the fireworks at the beach of Lake Michigan. They have a band play before and during the fireworks show, it's quite nice really, and you're very close to the fireworks *BOOM!*

i want to light off my roman candle and get some more fireworks from a stand. after that we're going to a firework show, but it also has singing, plays, and stuff. if it were me id only go for the fireworks but my whole family (on my moms side) goes every year so.... and my sisters came down to visit from washington.

Ooh roman candle eh? You like the big boomers lol.

The guy who lives behind us makes explosives.. I remember about 5 years ago he brought a half stick of dynamite and a small bomb or something to the neighborhood party to set off for the 4th. It made a big boom. Guy is crazy but.. whatever.
