This was crawling around my yard this afternoon...

We have great fun together... we hung out in the pool today, then watched a bit of the Lori Bergner Band (a kids band... I have their songs stuck in my head now!), ate some cheesy noodles, and now she's passed out on the floor.

Spoil her rotten and send her back to mom, lol, that's the way to do it!

I plan on getting her a snake when she gets older---taking her to a reptile show and letting her pick one out. Her mom hates them, and so does her grandma, but I figure as long as I keep it at my house, no one can say anything. Ain't I a little :halohorn:

She is absolutely adorable. What a lucky little girl too! I hope her ear tubes go well tomarrow. :D

YES! Someone else has that song stuck in their head too! That's the one that I always get stuck on... that and "We Are the Dinosaurs," Lol.

I actually found myself sitting there watching the video and humming along while Macy was in the other room--- shhh, don't tell anyone.

If it makes you feel any better, I do too. :oops: I like the one with animals on their head. Susie's got a cow on her head, and she keeps it there all day. :doh:

and not only are they a pain in the butt to raise but getting them to breed with females YOU choose is near impossible. also they are one of the highest level protected species out there, so as a result there is a lot of red tape invovled before getting a shipping license for one or even if you just simply want to sell it...but take heart, it can be done!

If you're waiting until you feel experienced enough, you'll NEVER have one. They're definitely OJT!!!!!! And I wouldn't have traded it for the world. That's why chat groups and trusted family and friends are soooooooo helpful to new mums and das!!!!

Even w/o Dr. Spock, we've managed quite well as a species (some just better than others! ;) :P )
