    Very nice shots!

Please realize for those disgruntled, the majority of folks are unlikely to have huge, dual or widescreen monitors and we (as a site) would be ill-served to overlook that.

I'm very sorry about that ... certainly not "disgruntled" here ... I thought we were just playin around ... It wasn't meant to be taken "personally" (not saying that it was, but "if" it was, that wasn't my intention) ... I'm well aware of the most common monitor sizes and resolutions used by internet clients and I think that the site and the staff do an excellent job of making sure that everyone can enjoy the amazing images posted by our members! :D

    ROCK ON!

No need at all to apologize - it certainly isn't warranted. Dissapointed i guess might have been a better word then. I need to reread Hayakawa's "Language in Thought and Action" lol - so very much room for interpretation!

I understand very well the desire to be able to post larger more detailed pics of our (all of us) gorgeous animals. To that end the "resolution" poll now docked on the front page.

We appreciate the kind words and the continual contributions of everyone whether in pics or posts - the communal pooling of information and advice is the pulse and breath that keeps things here rolling. And of course the work of the great folks on staff.

Sorry to derail the thread to such an extent.

Not disappointed either ... I've always been careful to size my pics to meet even the most basic desktop resolutions ... I could not care less about pic sizes ... I was really only making a tongue in cheek comment because I know that there is a lot of confusion around the sites picture posting policies ... I realize now that perhaps it was in bad taste ... again, I am very sorry and I really appreciate all of the time, effort, and "heart & soul" that every single member of the staff pours into this site to make it as cool as it is.

    ROCK ON!
