what is the temp on the cool side?? sould be around 80. what type of cage is it in. if the snake is new a trip to the vet is a must. take some poo along with ya so the vet can test for parasites.

i would not be to worried about the hole hanging out on the cold side thing. as long as the temp is in the low 80s it is no problem. i have about 20 boas now and about 10 of them aloways seem to be on the cold side. every time i walk in the room. i would feed pre killed for a while just for about 2 months just to get the guts rolling again. and if you are having trouble with regurg i would feed a food item that is half the size of the widest part of your snake. baby boas are usually eating machines. so you should have no problem getting the apatite back soon.

i am in san diego so if you need any help give me a buzz or IM me for my phone #. best of luck with you lil baby.

If it was fed FT then it could just be a bad meal. In my observations of males in my collection, they tend to like to hang out on the cooler sides anyway.

If it were to happen again, a fecal would be a must. There are many factors that could cause the re-gurge, parasites, stress, hanging out in a too cool section, etc.

You said BCC - what you descibed sounds like a Guyana Boa?
