I would also recommend a canister filter. Exterior would be best. Fluval or Ehiems are nice (I fell in love with the Ehiems).
Someone was talking about PetSmart... If you print out their info from their website with pricing and product info, you can just bring it into the store and buy it for that price.... No shipping, The only thing is they may not actually carry that particular product, so make sure to check it out.
