Oh Tim that is a heartbreaker! Unfortunately when we breed any creature there's always the chance of an offspring that's just not meant to survive, but it still doesn't make it any easier to accept or witness. The genetics are there, perhaps this same pair will go on over the years to produce many fine, healthy albino offspring for you, though I'm sure right now that's not much consulation for you and your wife.

Thanks for all of the pick-me-ups guys. I do have a Spider clutch that is hatching right beside these, so that is helping me stay upbeat. However, those Spiders don't want to come out of the eggs. Maybe tonight or in the morning they will grace us with their presence.

That just bites Tim! On a positive note, you've got some karma points racked up with the ball gods on that one, but if I was in your shoes I wouldn't be thinking like that either ... I'd just be pi$$ed ;) ... hang in there bro, it gets MUCH better. ;)

This is a "nature problem" ... Like Jo said, not every egg is meant to survive ... that's why they have clutches of multiple eggs instead of just one. If you breed enough and produce enough, you definitely see stuff like that ... it's just part of the game. Most of the small time guys freak out when they see stuff like that because they aren't doing enough numbers to know that it happens to everyone. But, the good out weighs the bad by so much, that in the end it doesn't matter. ;)

    ROCK ON Tim!

Thanks for the positive feedback Adam. By the way, I just got done telling the wife, that I hope I am done with the "sacrifices" for the season. I am hoping that my Hypo clutch will make up for this one.

    Update.
Well my wife went back out to the room this evening, and the Albino was dead still half in the egg. She originally went to go get it and have a friend sex it, and when she saw it dead, she cut the rest of the egg and pulled it out. I won't even be able to know if it was male or female. It doesn't really matter, but I was curious. Here it is completely out of the egg.

Thanks for letting me share this with you all,
